Government and regulated organizations that need AI for cybersecurity can now consider GPT-5.6 Cyber inside GovCloud, but they still must meet the approval requirements and their own compliance and governance rules before deploying it.
OpenAI's Daybreak Red, which provides GPT-5.6 Cyber, is now available in AWS GovCloud (US-East) through Amazon Bedrock. Access is limited to approved customers doing authorized cybersecurity work. The expansion extends the specialized cyber model into a regulated government cloud environment.
